You and Your spouse (or co-habiting partner) and your financially dependent children, aged under 18 years in full time education, at the inception date of your policy all normally resident with you and named on the certificate of insurance. Each adult can travel independently.

If any of the following apply to you, a travelling companion, an immediate relative, close business associate or someone upon whom your trip depends (that you are aware of, whether they are travelling with you or not), the Medical Screening Service must be contacted on +44 (0) 208 828 1529.
1.You/they were aware of any reason why the trip could be cancelled or curtailed or of any medical condition, which could result in a claim.
2.You/they have, during the last 12 months before this insurance started, suffered from or received treatment, advice or medication for any chronic ongoing or recurring illness or condition (A chronic condition is one lasting three months or more).
3.You/they were travelling against the advice of a medical practitioner or in order to get medical treatment abroad.
4.You/they have been diagnosed as having a terminal illness.
5.You/they were receiving, recovering from, or on a waiting list for in-patient treatment in a hospital or nursing home.
6.You/they were waiting for the results of tests or investigations, or awaiting a referral for an existing medical condition.
Failure to contact us could leave you with no right to make a claim, and may mean that you travel with insufficient cover.
If there is any change to a pre-existing condition or if any of the reasons stated above occur between the date the Certificate wording is issued and / or before the first day of your trip, you must notify the medical assessors immediately on +44 (0) 208 828 1529.
We will then decide if we can provide you with cover on existing terms. We may ask you to pay an additional premium or add special conditions to the policy. If we cannot provide cover, or if you do not want to pay the additional premium, you can make a cancellation claim if you have booked and paid for a trip that you have not yet made. Alternatively you can cancel your policy and we will send you a pro rata refund.
We reserve the right not to extend this insurance if deemed necessary by us, where the booked trip could be detrimental to your well-being.

Winter Sports is defined as conventional skiing / snowboarding only. (Off piste skiing is covered when you are skiing within the ski area boundaries of a recognised ski resort and following ski patrol guidelines).
Our Annual Multi-Trip Silver cover includes a total of 10 days and Gold cover 21 days in any one policy year and our 100 days Single tTip cover has a 100 days per policy for Winter Sports where the appropriate additional premium has been paid.
Please note that for a Winter Sports holiday all sections of the travel policy are valid including Medical Expenses where the appropriate premium has been paid.
Yes, the policy covers you travelling from any of your residences.
For example, someone with residences in both Spain and France, if they travelled from Spain the cover would commence when they left their home and end when they arrived at their home in France. If they then travelled back to Spain again on leaving their home in France they would have cover until they arrived in Spain.

For Annual Multi-Trip, Cancellation cover begins on the start date shown on your Certificate of Insurance or the date you booked your journey, which ever is the later and ends when you begin your journey.
For Single Trip, Cancellation cover begins from the issue date shown on your Certificate of Insurance and ends at the beginning of your journey.
Answer For the purpose of this policy you are covered whilst performing clerical business activities only. Non-manual or light general work not involving the use of mechanical or industrial machinery at a height not exceeding 2 meters.
